Remember that some things ARE in your control....exercising more than what you take in regarding calories will only work against you.
Yes, 5ASA meds can have some problems....but it's not as though you can attribute all to it.
What shampoos and conditioners are you using for your hair? What product before you flat iron your hair?
How long is your hair?
Do you pull it back in a ponytail? put it up in clips?
Do you have little baby hairs growing aound your hairline? If they're all even, it's breakage, if it's all looking like nice tapered hair...that could very well be your hair growing back.
Hair grows a half to one inch a month...it lies dormant for 3 months before falling out and will take another 2 - 3 months for it to reach the scalp and for you to notice the "babies".
One loses up to 100 hair a day...normally.
Plus, everyone has their whole head of hair replaced every 2 - 6 years...depending on how long each follicle is programmed to grow.
Add stress, birth control, hormones such as steroids, illness, extreme weight loss....etc....something regarding the cycle of the hair PLUS if it happens in conjunction with any of the above...you'll have hairloss.
Oh, may as well throw in heredity....if your mom's dad is bald, it's possible you could have that tendency as well for female hairloss.
The other possibilities are autoimmune hairloss....
Hang tough, have your hair cut short enough to look fuller, look into the Nioxin (check out makeupalley.com for some reviews on it....you have to join) and there are many products that will probably work for your hair type.
Lots of questions...but that's what I do..lol!
