I think it's time to start ressurecting the fun threads!  So this one is an oldie but a goodie and since we have many new members I thought it might be fun!

Where about do you live? Yes it's that simple of a question but it's always interesting to see where everyone is coming from.  smilewinkgrin  But please use common sense!  Do not give us your address! LOL turn

My name already says it all...I'm in Maryland -- about 20 minutes from downtown Washington D.C. and also about 20 minutes away from Virginia. So I get to enjoy the best of 3 regions.

about an hour north of Seattle, WA (and no, that's not Canada yet!)

Lonie, I always have trouble thinking of Sacramento as northern Calif...maybe because the company I work for has nursery fields waaaay in northern Calif (like right on the Oregon border). Talk about a desolate area!

British Columbia, Canada.  A very small town on a beautiful river, surrounded by incredible mountains wink

 (Only downside......a four hour drive over mountain roads to see my GI.  Beautiful drive in the summer.  Treacherous in the winter.)
