This spring I have to take a standardized national exam and was concerned that if I had to make a trip to the restroom it would cut into the time allotted for the test. I requested a medical accommodation to allow for extra restroom breaks. The request was granted!! I had to submit documentation in the form of a letter from the doctor and extra paperwork with the application to take the test. Just knowing that I have that option decreases the stress level
