I have a bad cough and just wondering if it is safe to take mucinex? I want to make sure that I am taking something that is mild on the stomach, I wouldn't want to flare. Please share your experiences with UC and Mucinex.
Thanks

I imagine it's okay. What are the ingredients? I mean I was taking NyQuil and junk when I was sick and I was fine.

I use Mucinex and I've had no issues with it bothering my Uc.

I've been taking mucinex recently for a cold and have seen no changes in my UC, so I'd imagine it is safe.

Me too. Took some an hour ago. Been on it a lot this winter, haven't seen any problems yet.

When I had bronchitis a few weeks ago I took a prescript
ion medication that has the same main ingredient as mucinex and I was fine.
