wouldnt it be wierd to meet everyone here in person?!!!smhair  all the things we post and talk about and exchange about yet never have met the other side!!!! well i for one am curious about some people!!! i mean who knows maybe someone here is a friend or relative of mine or my nieghborshocked that would be surpringly wiered!!! well its nice to have forums like these to talk to!!!wink

I've actually met a couple people from HW at one time. There were a couple of us from Michigan and we met at a CCFA walk. It was a lot of fun to be talking to these ladies for a couple of years and then to meet them in person. The only thing that we would need if we all met is a place with A LOT of bathrooms! LOL

Of course, it would have to be at a place with lots of bathroom facilities, diverse food options, and lots of seating for us to gab!!!

Yes, there would have to be an extensive menu to meet our varied diets. Maybe we could all recline, receiving gentle massages while sipping on delicious pre-digested, all natural, carb-free, lactose-free, gluten-free smoothies.

I actually met and had brunch with Lonie and Starrnr ( I havent seen Sherry post in quite a while).. It was awesome and they are great pooples.. lol.. Something we definately should do again.. Anyone near the Sacramento Area, we should try and plan a meeting once the sun comes out to stay. Or for anyone who wants to make it for that matter!!

I've met a bunch a people from here at a focus group in Philly that Shire Pharmaceuticals was conducting. It was about Lialda and 5-ASA drugs. That was a couple of years ago I believe. They flew us in from all around the country. It was a good experience. :)

yeah, & for gift bags, we'd get diapers, baby wipes, panty liners, chewable Immodiums..... You do wonder though, if you're "chatting" with someone in your local area.

I agree with everyone else-we'd need a ton of bathrooms. But I would not mind meeting up with people on here provided I do not have to travel too far (no money!).

Hey AMK77! If I could afford it, I'd fly back there, but unfortunately.. I am a little short on traveling cash right now.. lol... It would be nice if we could all meet someplace in the middle sometime :) To be able to put names to faces would be great.. one reason I put a link to my myspace page in my signature, so people can see what I look like, and a bit about my life in pictures.. :)

Kevman! Modesto is only about 2 hours or so from my house.. You know, Saturday, May 1 st, they are having a Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis walk called "Take Steps", it's at the State Capitol Buliding on the west steps in Sacramento. Registration starts at 4pm and the walk starts at 5pm. It's about a 2 to 3 mile walk and it's to raise money and for people effected by these two diseases to get a chance to meet and do something positive.. that might be a fun place to meet and it would be for a good cause also~! Let me know if you'd be up for doing that!! 

So sorry Susie, but I had to take the link out since we can't post any website links that promote fundraising even if it's non-profit.

Hey JustLiveLife, I noticed you take Centrum. Centrum multivitamins have a lot of nasty harmful synthetic fillers in them. If you google "centrum toxic" you'll see what I'm talking about. You should check out some of the more natural multivitamins. They are a million times more expensive but it's your health we're talking about so it's worth it. I take a liquid multivitamin called "Miracle 2000". Sorry to go off topic but whenever I see someone taking that stuff I can't help but say something. :P
