Humira and prednisone

Anyone still taking prednisone when they started Humira? I figured I would be down to 10 mgm of the pred by next Wed when I receive my first dose of the Humira.

I've been on Humira and Methotrexate for 6 weeks and I'm still bleeding daily. Still taking Lialda too. I just added, AGAIN, the Rowasa enemas to my treatment and my doc wants to start predisone again, but I'm refusing. Lately, it's the only thing that works, but it's only short term.

I'm sorry, I'm not on Humira, I just started Cimzia.

yes, i was taking 25 mg of prednisone while i was on it. aside from the UC flare not resolving, nothing awful happened to me

Yes-I was on 40mgs/day when I started, and per the trial protocol, I wasn't allowed to even start tapering that until week 8, even though I was feeling great long before that. I started Humira in April and wasn't completely off pred until late August.
