I'm in MD / the Washington DC metro area...but I've lived all over other the place. I moved to this area from NYC, and was in England before that.

It seems like there's a good number of people from the DC metro area on the forum. If there's enough interest, maybe I'll try to coordinate a get together for everyone.

Sure I'm game.  I'm going the CCFA walk in Federal Hill on 6/5.  I joined the walk 3 years ago because I figured it would be a good way to meet others with UC.  I didn't know anyone so I joined a team already formed called the "Colitis Cuties" and she and I are walking again this year.

LOL...In St Thomas Ontario..ya know home of that poor elephant Jumbo...and automotive makers..just 20 minutes south of London n another 20 minutes south gets ya to Lake Erie..Port Stanley..famous for Stork Club...ummm n Mackies fries n sauce....

My teammate said there is a kick off party at some bar in Federal Hill next Wednesday.  If you're interested let me know and I'll try to get more info.  Even if you don't consider yourself a "Colitis Cuties" you are welcome to join our team.  I just randomly picked the team 3 years ago and it's just a few of us.

From Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Born and raised.  No one in my family has chron's or UC.  My cousin was just diagnosed with RA.  Starting to wonder if maybe there is a gene in my family or something.

Santiago, Chile (I guess I'm the only South American in the forum so far!)

I've been in the USA in Salt Lake City, Utah since 2007 though. Just barely moved back to UT after spending some time in Miami, FL working in the intl' banking and wealth management there (that's when my symptoms started, I guess my colon didn't enjoy the banking world).
