Ladies you can read if you want, but this is pretty specific to the guys.

It is a bit of a sensitve question so I will just come right out and ask

Do any of you men ever have your gut pain radiate out to the testicals?  When my pain and episode gets prolonged, the pain seems to make it's way out to the testicals.  Not like I got kicked there, but a dull low ache.

Anybody?

I'm no guy, but some suggestions could be:

- if you have any nerve inflammation in your back which could radiate into the testicles.

- ARe you suffering from any hemorrhoids as well? That inflammation can cause referred pain into the testes.

- hernia?

- infection?

- flaring?

- if it's continuing, best to get it checked out...especially since Crohn's has been diagnosed as a possibility....fistula or the making of one comes to mind.

Female period pain is like that...there's a release of prostaglandins and that creates all sorts of nice inflammation and referred pain...If I had testes, that's where it would hurt too...lol.

Hope it's nothing serious.

Does Bentyl improve it?

again...if you're flaring, rectal meds can help.

Yes i get it with almost every flare up. There was a similar thread to this a few years ago and a lot of the guys had similar issues .But you know you still need to get it checked out just to be sure.

yep I would say flaring, see rant thread a few days ago.  things are still "active" and the longer they stay that way, the more the pain moves up front.

Not pain but itchy. Usually hapens at night when I get into bed, but sometimes during the day. Also have itch on back and sides near hip. Thought it might be reaction to meds.

I don't recall anything like this. Sounds like it's not too uncommon though.

Yes I have noticed some uncomfortable small pain there at times with it being more recent as I have not been the best lately. It's definitely annoying

I asked my GI and Urologist about this recently as I was diagnosed with prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) about this topic. My GI said that if there was some rectal inflammation, it could cause some pressure against the prostate. She suggested the next time this happens, to use prescription hemorrhoid suppositories to see if the pain goes away. When I asked my urologist about this, he said it was unlikely, but certainly not out of the question.

P.S. Prostate inflammation or pressure against the prostate can cause testicular pain and even more frequent urination.

yeah ...happened to me at last falre , i was bleeding to much .. after the flare everything is going ok
