This is so OT, but, please pardon me, I just want to celebrate with my HW family! Today my close friend and colleague is getting married. I am "Best Woman" - lol. And I'm doing a reading. It's a small outdoor wedding. What a triumph, not quite 4 weeks after hip replacement! I'm sure I can do the ceremony without my cane (though I'll have it for the reception.) And my gut has been AMAZINGLY good since the hip surgery!!
My son, just out of his flare, is serving the food! I feel as if our family has come through so many difficulties to get to this day, and - hooray! (My friend is 48, her ebtrothed in his early 50's, and it's both their first marriage - Mazeltov!)
I just had to share.

It's great to be able to do things without anxiety isn't it?
Best wishes to you, your son and all your friends.
Life can be good.

The wedding was lovely. Hot here in southern CT, and muggy, but the ceremony was able to be outside, and then the reception in a pavillion at the park.
Thanks for all your well-wishes. You all and the support of the HW community has come to mean so much to me - blessings to all of you - and good health!!!!!!
