Migraine after Remi infusion

Does anyone get migraines after a Remicade infusion?
I got a migraine the day after my last infusion, but I figured it was just a fluke since I get migraines every once in a while. Today, I had my 14th infusion and two hours after it was stopped, I got a migraine.



Now I'm paranoid that I'm building antibodies or something. Don't fail me, Remicade!

     I never had a migraine after a Remi infusion but two days after my 3rd infusion I suffered what I thought was a 24 hr virus...temperature of 101, body aches, diarrhea and just over all yukky.  A day or so after that my UC symptoms came back and never left mad .  I did have a 4th infusion one week earlier than scheduled but it did nothing.  Doctor stopped the Remi and said I had built up antibodies to it...that fast!  No luck with Humira either.

I got a bad headache after my first infusion so the doctor gives me arthritis strength tylenol before every infusion now and I don't get headaches.

I've never had a headache either, but I too take a Tylenol and Zyrtec before my infusions. Good luck Bookworm, I hope the Remi continues to work for you.

I only had one Remicade infusion, but I did get a headache that lasted for about 3 days. The good thing was if I stayed on top of it, I could knock it down with Tylenol Extra Strength...

I never got a migraine type of headache though, just a mild pounder... lol... I hope you feel better

I actually take Zyrtec a week before and a week after the infusion, and Tylenol right before. Hopefully just increasing the Tylenol will help!
