I would first relax and be patient for the follow up with your doctor. Polyps are quite common in the colon and are often just inflammatory tissue. Be glad you had a colonscopy and had them removed. I have them as well, had them removed and my path report just stated it was inflammatory tissue, no more. There are many people with no UC who have polyps removed. One of dear friends just had his colonscopy due to having turned 50. A polyp was discovered and he just had a foot of his large intestine removed. He is doing well and it was benign.
In closing many people who have colonscopies have had polyps removed, there are different kinds, psuedopolyps, etc... The important thing is to have them looked. Usually they are just tags of inflammation, nothing more.
