Best place to buy probiotics

specifically culturelle or align, as those are the ones my GI recommended. I bought the culterelle today since it was $24.99, while the align was $29.99. If it does anything to help me, I'd like to find a place online where I can order it cheaper. ANy suggestions?

since my UC days i've used custom probiotics CP-1, 90 capsules for $40: http://customprobiotics.com. aside from VSL they have one of the highest counts of probiotic bacteria per capsule/powder.

also GNC carries a good variety of probiotics.

I'd just bought Align at my local pharmacy... but someone had said they'd bought it cheaper from eBay!

I order from vitacost often. They are quick and the prices are reasonable. I hate to pay for shipping. They have a free shipping promo now but it's only for orders over $98 and I don't want to spend that.

I have used Align for a couple years since it came out and I got a sample from my doctor.  My new doctor was happy to see I was still taking it - actually, he said best thing I could do for myself.  I know there are lots of good probiotics out there - but Align works for me.

I get my on ebay.  Usually, find a seller for like 2 or 3 months supply.  Anything under $1 a pill is pretty good - just read through them all and check out the seller.  I have had no problems.

Oh boy Pam I found Culturelle for around $14 at Vitacoast, also Swanson, or even iHerb. All online stores though so you have to figure in shipping costs. iherb is usually shipping based on weight, so a small light package is fairly low shipping the others are flat rate $4 or $5. Of course if you order a bunch of them at once you can come out ahead, or even get free shipping from iHerb over $40.

     Did your doctor say you still had to use probiotics even after surgery?  My nutritionist suggested Powerdolphilus by Country Life.  I order it from vitacost too.  I think it was $14 for a bottle of 200.  I don't really take them every day, as I never noticed much of a difference in the way I felt.

I guess some have a problem with buying things on ebay - I have done it for 10 years with no problems.  Save a lot of money on a lot of things.  I get my vet supplies, etc. - non-prescription stuff all on ebay.

I don't have a problem buying on ebay but I assumed vitacost was cheaper because you said anything under $1 a pill was good, but I just paid 24.99 for 30 pills at the drug store so I didn't understand how that was a good price

I love vitacost. I would definitely recommend buying there. I find that the prices are so fair that even with shipping you end up paying quite a bit less than you would pay in the store. I used to shop around a lot but these days I just go to vitacost or iHerb. I think Iherb is a bit higher price but sometimes the shipping is only $2.

When I checked Viticost they are really cheap there.  Seems prices are going down everywhere.  But also it stated they are not available right now.

Used to under $1 was good but not so great anymore.  I just shop around when I get near to needing more.  I usually buy two or three months worth at a time.

I usually compare between iherb and luckyvitamin. Two cheaper places I have found that ships quickly. I get a decent discount on iherb, but lately luckyvitamin is running cheaper.

I work at a Kroger pharmacy in Texas, and Culturelle is 19.99/box of 30. Try your local Kroger Co banner store? It sounds like it'd be the about the same cost as online + shipping.

Align is 29.99/box of 28 though, so I'd look elsewhere for that one!

We don't have Kroger here. We did in Michigan but not here

If it works for me and I order a couple boxes, the 4.99 shipping will be worth it
