HI, I just want to share my experience for the past 2 weeks, and if you guys are as desparate as I was I think you will find this blog very usefull.

I had my last Remicade infusion 9 weeks ago. 2 week ago, which will make it in my seventh week, I began having lots of loose stool and lots of bleeding. My biggest concern was that I am getting sick again, I could not really eat anything and I started loosing weight, in other words I thought my doctor would tell me a sergery. I set up an appointment on my seventh week, because I became very worried that I will end up in the hospital. The doc saw me and told me that I am doing really good, because I have gained 20 pounds for the past 7 weeks. I knew that this is greate that I had gained that much weight but I was worried that I started loosing it again. I told him that I am having many of my syptoms back and he suggested that I need to have my Remi infusion earlier, he did believe that finally the Remi is doing its job. I honostly do not think so, and here is why.

For 4 days after my last infusion I kept having same problems, I thought that maybe it will take time for the meds to kick in. Did I mention that I was still taking lots of Asacol and 5mg per day Prednisone?      Here is the best part....... My brother found out that in Indiana there is this Amish doctor who helps people with different problems, he told me that he met this girl who had cancer problems and this guy really made her feel well. I was very sceptical at first, but decided to check it out, I thought what is there to loose, just 4 hour drive and meybe a possibility of me getting better. I did go in the Amish country and met the guy. He does not charge anything for checking up people. I told him I had UC,  thinking that he probably does not know what that desiase is, based on its name, but he told me he is very well aware of it and he personally helped a lot of people. He still asked me what my exact complaints were, which I told him that I have lots of loose stool and lots of bleeding. He said that he will give me some herbs in the form of pills and he promissed that after a day I will see the difference, he said that in a mounth I wont even know I had UC. I will be honost with you I was very sceptical, but had nothing to loose, but to try those new pills. He also sugested that I should lower my pills from my other doctors. The best part is that this Amish guy told me he can fix me, not just mainteain my syptoms. Can you emagine this guy told me he can cure UC :) I almost began laghing at him... Here are the results :

After a day of taking these pills, and after me reading the contents of those pills I began having a formed stool. I still had some bleeding but that was a good start for just one day of taking the herbs. The second day same result with less blood, the third day even less blood, and curently I have no bleeding, but in the morning which is very little. I do have some cramping when I have a BM but the guy said that is normal because I need to have my Colon cleaned up from all the crap that has built up in there. He does have a very different view on the UC than the MDs and sergionts I have met. I can say that this Amish guy did explain things a lot better that those other guys. Did I say that I met 3 mds and 2 sergionts.

I will keep you posted if you are interested on what is happening with me, but I can tell you this, that it is a lot better taking some natural herbs than bunch of steroids Asacol and what not. If you are interested on more information let me know. I am taking 22 pills of these herbs, and I feel greate, hoping my cramping to go away soon. He did share a lot of other information, but I think this blog is long enoegh alrady :)

I have 4 different things I am taking, on the bottles say, Acidophilus, Psyllium seed husk, Food enzymes, CLT-X
ingridients are : Lactobacillus acidopphilus, Psyllium husk, Betaine HCI, Alpha amylase, Pepsin, Bromelan, Papain, Bile Salt, Pancreatin, Lipase, Slippery Elm Bark, Marshmallow Root, Ginger Rhizome, Dong Quai Root, Wild Yam Root, Lobelia Aerial Parts.

Also these engridients have specific amounth for the particular pill.

I sure can. I am taking a particular number of these herbs, as I said the guy did check me out and told me exactly how many pills I need to take of a particular thing. I would say that for each individual person the amounth would be probably different. There is a website where you can check all these herbs and probably order them directrly from them, but I would suggest seeing the guy and percahsing from him. After all I got a bag full of these different herbs for a mounth supply, I mean a bag becase I am taking 24 pills a day and coast me only a $140. He does not charge for the visit. In other words I payed only for the herbs.

As you can imagine this guy is an Amish and as such they live a very different life than all of us. They do not have electricity or phones, so the only way of contacting thim is by mail or visiting. The only time you can go without an appointment is Mondays from 8 to 5 pm. Tuesday and Wednsday is only appointment from 8-4pm.

I am still very sceptical about this, considering the fact that all doctors that I saw told me that this desease is incurable and moreover they told me I would be on meds all my life or have a sergery. This guy told me he will fix me, so you can imagine why am I so sceptical about it. I am not going to lie, my syptoms have improved drastically since I have been taking these staff. I will see how I do in 8 weeks from now and if I am still doing ok, I probably won't take Remi either. My suggestion is to wait to see how will I do, I dont want to look like a lier, but if you have nothing to loose like me try it. I mean I have over 45K in hospital bills, and thousands more in medication, so I thought why not trying it.

His address is: I'm sorry, I took out their address for their own security.  This is an open forum and everything we put on here will remain on the internet for years. I did put it in my GPS and got me there, but at first it took me to an empty field. I followed the road or more in particular the post boxes and found exactly were this place was. Just so you know at first I got lost.

He was the only guy who told me that my condition is not based on some kind of immune system deffisioncy. He told me that my problem is about what I ate for the past few years. Which is true I had a very busy life 50 hour job and 15 credits of school, so you can emagine what kind of staff I was eating. He told me that I need to have my guts cleaned out. He said that my biggest anemy is flower, becaue it sticks to my guts cousing them to swallow and not work properly, he told me a lot of other thing I should avoind as well. As I said he told me some really cool staff that I am trying right now. I have another appointment in a mounth and will definatelly go and see him.

my biggest enemies are flowers too.... hahaha!!!! Maybe your Amish friend has some herbs to help you with spelling too.

Well yes, thank you for the comment, I will definatelly ask him for a spelling herb. I am not English speaking person as you could emagine. This is my third language and I really do not pay attention on how I write since I am at work. I am just trying to help, but if that is too amusing for you it is your problem.

FYI what I meant is that he told me to avoid items like Bread Pasta and so on, also rice and patatoes.

I just want to be clear. I am not asking anyone to believe me in what I post here. The only reason I spend time in this forum is that I did find help and support on here when I needed it the most. I thought I should return the favor.

I think the main purpose of this place is for us to have support and give suggestion in what is helping each one of us. I am not trying to be funny, all I am saying is that I am keeping an open mind. I do believe in God and I do believe in alternative medicine. The place I am comming from is that I had tryied all kinds of meds and was hospitalized twice this year. It got to the point that I had no choice but a sergery. Now I am doing greate with no meds but these herbs, so who is laghing now ????

Now I am not taking any meds, no steroids, no Asacol, no anemas, nothing, and my health is improving and I know there is someone who if very sure that can help me. So why not keep an open mind since I have no other choice but a sergery. I was trying to share my experience nothing more. I am not saying that I have found a mirracle, or I am not trying to sell you anything, it is just that I found something that is helping me.

I dont want anybody to go and see this Amish guy or get any of these herbs. They are helping me so far and I though people would be interested in my health development. I am still not sure, if this will really work, as I said I am keeping an open mind and so far it is working for me.

I had UC since 04 I usually like to stay informed of any new treatments for this disease I usually do not comment on this web site the Amish doctor just caught my eye as something interesting and I asked for more info no way am I associated with the original poster or are schemeing with him just to set the record straight.

People I am not trying to scheme anyone. I would care less if anyone is interested or not. We live in a free county and can do whatever we want. I just wanted to share my experience since I had improvement.
I did try this guy because I had nothing to loose.

I wasnt skeptical to begin with but after reading some posts that questioned the validity of it I google earthed it and it does appear to be a farming community and as far as I could tell there were no vehicles in the yard or surrounding yards. I tried the SCD and the only thing that Im still doing that I took from the SCD was No Bread <-----very helpful. I guess I'll get out the pencil and paper and write em a letter, I got nothing to lose. I live in Alabama and I drive a motorcycle for transportation at the moment so hopefully they can give me some advice via snail-mail cuz I dont predict trip to Indiana in my future.

It is a solid list of ingredients I will say that. The first part of that list you can usually get from probiotics and enzyme suppliments. Slippery elm and psyllium is pretty cheap to buy, not sure about the rest.
That is great it is working for you. Maybe others can weight the cost of buying individual ingredients themselves and try it out.

It's great that your condition improved. I've seen these same ingredients on digestive supplements and probiotics. You can probably save money by getting the herbal supplements from drug stores, some organic food stores, vitamin stores, or the Internet if your area doesn't carry them.

Thanks for posting. I am so glad you are having such good results and a bonus if you can get them through more "natural" means. I like the list of ingredients....like the other poster said, seems solid. Please keep us posted. I always like to hear success stories even though I know we are all different. Good luck and thanks.
