American College of Gastroenterology meeting just finished in San Antonio.
There were a couple of presentations on C. difficile.
Fighting C. Diff With Feces: http://www.medpagetoday.com/MeetingCoverage/ACG/22841.
"... Brandt said fecal transplantation was first reported in 1958, and more than 100 procedures via nasogastric tube, rectal enema, or colonoscopy have been performed in the U.S. since then. Its use is increasing as more physicians are searching for better treatments for C. difficile infection, which has increased significantly across U.S. hospitals...."
If you have the stomach for it, this link inside the above page: http://www.medpagetoday.com/MeetingCoverage/EASD/22352 has a video which shows the transplant "mixture" being prepared.
This presentation at the meeting discusses the use of tumeric/curcumin as a potential treatment for C. diff.

Trivialpersuit, I don't know where you live, but perhaps you could print and show the articles to your doctors and they could help you find the nearest hospital or center that would do the fecal transplant procedure. Would you be able to travel? It sounds like you could really use some help. I hope you find some effective treatment soon.
Good luck!
