Hi all....I was discharged from the hospital last Friday. Our computer was down and today was the first day I am able to post.
My surgery went well, but I had a few complications. Had to have the NG(nasty gaggy) tube reinserted five days after my operation. It really wasn't all that bad...it helped tremendously with the nausea.

Christine!!!!

I've been just dying to hear how it went.... I'm especially curious because I have been flaring again with not much relief from the Rowasa and my GI is thinking about trying Remicade one more time since Prednisone doesn't work for me anymore.... I'm not sure I want to do that so have been really considering just going for the surgery and getting it done with...

I'm curious what complications you had and just how the surgery went for you overall.. Also how do you like having your ostomy? I'm thinking if I have the surgery I'll do it in the fall, after the summer is over......

I'm SO GLAD to see you are back and doing ok now :D

Hey Christine!!!! Thanks for popping in to give us the scoop on how you're doing. It's awesome to hear all is going well regarding recovery, albeit a few complications.

Welcome back...hope you hang around for a bit to answer some of the questions such as....what complications???

YAY! Glad your back home. Take care of yourself during the healing. I know lots of people have said to drink lots of water. Let us know more when you're up to it!
