I called my doctor, and they had no appointments for today or tomorrow or Friday, being an long term patient, doesn't mean jack, I guess.
Anyways, my doctor wanted me to just go and draw some blood, and he'd get back to me ASAP. Hopefully it is before my vacation, where I'm leaving on Monday. I'm a little nervous as what he is going to say he saw, but I am very confident this might not be a UC related incident. In a recent thread, I talked about
how I had switched some things up in my diet, and was experiencing sudden bowel movements, but no pain, and no nausea, or vomiting of any sort, also the bowel movements are solid, but there is a lot of gas to pass before I get to any of the actual bowels.
Today I experienced more blood than yesterday, but still no pain/stomach cramping. I also can't feel the sensation that I get when I'm flaring, as an indication I will have blood in my stool. I know it is weird, but it is almost like I can feel myself bleeding inside, don't know that anybody has that feeling.
I will tell you guys what is up, hopefully something simple like time, or rectal mesalamines will do the trick, maybe even increasing Apriso, who knows, whatever the doctor sees and tells me.
My one question that I was going to ask, is kind of unrelated to this particular incident, but still UC related.
It is about
getting your colon removed. I've always been afraid to do this, and I feel as though this will happen at one point or another. I know they give you a bad, but how does that work? I've heard of the bag being on the outside and inside, this I was confused by. Is there any chance somebody can tell me a little bit more about
the whole bag thing, nobody has really explained that one to me, would like to know as much as possible.
Thanks guys!
