use of supposotories

I've been using suppostories for about 4 weeks now and producing perfect BM once a day. I have noticed that the very tip of my rectum is getting sensitive. I'm presuming this is from the constant use of supposotories. Never had a senstivity like this before. It's quite mild. Any thoughts on how to overcome this other than tapering down on them? Using one per day.

I had a little bit of this too. I've been off the suppositories for a week and it seems to be going away.

Thanks. i'm afraid to taper off them because things are so good for me

What suppositories are you using?

Do they leak a bit during the day?

You could put a bit of hydrocortisone cream or even zinc oxide cream on your anus throughout the day...that might help heal that area.
