Saw my Doctor

Hey Guys,

Excuse my short absence from posting, I've been on a much needed vacation and I've just been resting.
From a previous thread I wrote, I stated I had blood in my stool, and sudden bowel movements, but no vomiting or any pain whatsoever, which indicated that I wasn't having a flare up, or at least not one that I've had before.
This has went on for two weeks or so, so I decided to talk to my doctor, as sudden bowel movements, and going to school, don't really mix.

He said, exactly what you guys said, rectal mesalamines, hooray!
I was on those for quite some time and they always rid of my blood in my stool.
Before I actually went to my doctor though, I had some blood work done, last Friday, I believe. My doctor said the blood work was as best as it has ever been and there were no signs of inflammation!

So my doctor is giving me a month with the enemas, if they don't work he will do a colonoscopy.

Glad it's going well for you.

Just FYI:  ESR and CRP (inflammation markers) are notoriously unreliable with IBD in general and especially UC.  If your doc uses them to brush off your symptoms, find another doc.  If I'm not mistaken, ESR correlates with UC symptoms about 25% of the time, CRP about 50% of the time.

Guys, I know as much as the next guy that blood tests aren't always the most reliable!
I was diagnosed with Crohn's and Colitis, back and forth, alternating each visit, due to blood work.
As for my last colonoscopy, well over a year ago. There was just no need to have one, I was feeling fine on steroids.

As for my high Vitamin-D count, my endocrinologist put me on it. I went to him right after I was diagnosed with Crohn's (at the time) and he said I was like a 9 year old, I wasn't growing and basically any problems I've had, with growth, and pain in my joints, is subject to Crohn's (which is now Colitis)
He recently did a spine test, and my spine is that of a 13 year old, and I'm turning 16 in December.
In recent months I've had a growth spurt, I'm at 5'8", when I last saw my Endro-Doc, I was 5'4" I believe. Both of my knee doctors have said my growth platelets are wide open, and 6'0" wouldn't surprise them in the next few months. My final height, as said by them and my Endro-Doc should be 6'2".

EDIT: I forgot to answer a question, I see my doctor again on Monday, September 13th.
My actual deadline is the 19th, I want to be able to jump, scream and move around by then, I'm going to see my favorite band, on maybe their last trip to San Antonio, KISS!

I understand what a colonscopy does and is used for, I've had three. All three times, they have done the above, and two out of the three times, and endoscopy was done as well, for my Acid Reflux.
Growth spurt isn't hurting at all, only time I had pain in my body were my younger years, with my knees, and my time on steroids.
