100 degree fever, the chills and a pool of sweat

What is going on here...been jumping between terrible chills and sweat to feeling fine...fever is only 100 degrees but I feel horrible and can't get warm...anyone else deal with anything like this?

for how long? What other symptoms are you having and what UC meds are you using?

For 24 hours...I am on balsazide disoduim and mescaline enemas...currently in a really bad flare

You have some kind of infection. Could be as simple as a flu-like illness or more serious. You're not on any immunosuppressant drugs, so it may or may not be related to your UC. Try taking some Tylenol and see if it takes the temp down and keeps it there. If not, call your primary care doctor.

about a week ago I got the worst chills and could not get warm despite being buried under a pile of blankets. I was shivering so bad i was sure I must have had a terrible fever, but when I took my temp it was barely 100 degrees. Some regular Acetaminophen knocked the fever down and made the chills go away; thankfully the whole thing lasted less than 2 days. I told my doctor about it anyway since I'm on methotrexate and he said it sounded like a virus thats going around. Hope you feel better as quickly as I did. The Acetaminophen really helped me with the chills.

Believe it or not, not everything that happens is UC related. You're probably just sick with the flu or something similar.
