Dr's Appt Update

I had a dr's appt this morning and they found abnormal liver function. Has anyone ever experienced this while on Colazal? I have only been on for 2 months. They did an ultrasound and I go back in 4 weeks, I am having more blood tests done.

You need many more blood tests done. Did you get a copy of the tests you had? If not, get them so that you know exactly what the doc is talking about.

Mine are abnormal....I have UC-related liver disease...but there are different reasons for abnormal tests.

I am having more tests done. I go back in 4 weeks, giving more blood in 3 weeks, he has ordered about 15 more tests.

Good to hear....

You could ask for a copy of the requisition for the blood tests, then do the research and formulate questions for when you get the results.

I was on Colazal for over ten years. The 6MP caused my liver function tests to go wacky not the Colazal. Now off all that crap. Surgery, though no walk in the park, was well worth it.
