So, I have been off pred for a week now. Woohoo! And... I feel about
100 years old. Aches and pains and stiffness oh my! So, who can share with me how long it took all that to clear up after a long bout of pred?

i felt like i was 85 while i was on the pred... but to each his own... it took me about
a week after weaning to begin to feel normal again. the meds have to be completely out of your system for it to stop.

Wow, wonderful to hear you're off. Maybe there is some hope for me!

I don't know what works well anymore. In fact I don't know if anything works. It did work well for me when I had proctitis, before my illness progressed.

I'm on Canasa every other day and I think it works great.
