c diff and unique odor?

we're waiting on a BM to take to the lab to test for c-diff and i've read mention of c-diff having a unique odor. can anyone describe this for me?

It's sort of hard to describe. Maybe more rank then normal? It's a very strong odor.

It smells like sulfur.

thanks, everything i've read about c diff would lead me to believe he does not have it.
