Having a bad day today

Hey everyone! Am having a bad day today. Woke up at 6am today with really bad stomach pains, so much so that i had to go and take pain killers....I am having a colonoscopy in 4 days so i am not allowed to have high doses of steroids as they want to see the real condition of my colitis at present. I know that i should be going to my doctor but cant see the point as the only drug left for me to take is the steroid which they dont wont me to take....So what do you do? Suffer in silence for the next 4 days?

Am having nausea, stomach pain, headache, dry throat, pain in my rectum, constant urination, lack of sleep gggggggrrrrrrrrrrr.

Has anyone ever had a urination problem when they are having a flare?

It feels as if you need to pee all the time but when you go you hardly pee anything out?

Yes. I got quite a few bladder infections after having been on pred.

I went to the doctor and told him I was peeing frequently but that I was not experiencing any pain. He said that he thought it was just age but that he would do a test just to make sure. It turned out to be a bladder infection. I believe I had a low grade to moderate grade bladder infection for about one year after being on pred. I had to be on antibiotics three times. I was told I had a high white blood cell count.
