Got really sad news yesterday OT

I've mentioned this past month that I was pregnant... I started to have issues the Monday before Thanksgiving but was fixed, well..... I had more issues this past weekend and my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat yesterday, the heart beat was found last Wednesday though. I would've been 7 weeks this week. My doctor is going to start finding out what's causing this problem of my not being able to keep a baby. Hopefully next time the baby will stay for good.

I just left Babycenter.com, it is a nice site to use, but it didn't help my concerns unfortunately. I may go back on there when we try again. But right now we are just taking a break from all this. But I also may check out what you have mentioned.... seems worth it.

I'm sorry. It's not uncommon and unfortunately I think the stress and worry of conceiving again make it more difficult. I hope you and your husband can relax and enjoy your holidays as much as possible.

thebump.com has a pregnancy loss board, if you want to connect with other women who have gone through this. I'm sure some of them have gone through the same sort of testing.

I am sorry. Although this happens to so many people it does not make it any easier when you go through it yourself. Many, many of us have been through the same ordeal. My husband and I lost our first baby after trying for 4 years to conceive. We now have two amazing kids (actually adults now).

I know you will hear the same thing from everyone....that so many others have been through this...but your sadness is very real and you need to let yourself grieve. Already that baby was part of your family. You also need to relax, find the joy in the holidays (maybe it is enjoying time with the rest of your family) and look forward. There will be happier times ahead!

Quincy, this is my second pregnancy first one I miscarried before my first missed period, that was in Sept.

Thanks everyone for your remarks, it's nice to know that there are people there to sympathize with. My husband and I just moved away from all our family and will be celebrating Christmas by ourselves, but my husband has been awesome whenever I need him. He never ceases to amaze me at how understanding and caring he can be when I desperately need him. This may turn into a wonderful Christmas, but right now, 'course it's gonna be hard for a while.

Thanks Songlady! I know you have been helping me with this past pregnancy.... just was a big disappointment. Doctor thinks it might be a clotting issue, once I get tested we will know so when we do try again that one will definitely stay.

Sweetie, I am so sorry to hear this. I was following your news since I was thinking of TTC #2 in the near future. I wish you a relaxing holiday with your husband.

That is sad news, but you are still young so hope is on your side. Try to relax and eat a healthful diet, be sure to get all the helpful vit/minerals & give yourselves time to heal. / Old Hat (30 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Oh NO... I am so sad to hear this news.   I don't even know what to say...except that I am sooo  soooo  sorry.  There are no words that anyone can say that would come close to comforting this horrible pain that you must be feeling.  You and your family are in my prayers.  I'm sooo sorry.  Take some time to mourn this soul that you lost.  As others have said already, take some time for you.  Also, don't forget that your husband has lost something too.    Best wishes and prayers for you and your family.
