Everyone poops...not everyone has no arms. The joke you mention would be a groaner with discomfort.
The urgency to have diarrhea with a non-working toilet could very well happen to anyone. Therefore, the relation to it is different to me.

The point isn't how you relate to the thing being joked about. It's that you shouldn't blame somebody for finding humor in tragic/disturbing situations. It's a legit coping mechanism.

@aguywithuc I tried to say it's like Crohn's but then people asked if I could just stop eating wheat. And, then I ended up having to explain Celiac's disease, Crohn's AND UC. LOL :o)
