Everyone poops...not everyone has no arms. The joke you mention would be a groaner with discomfort.
The urgency to have diarrhea with a non-working toilet could very well happen to anyone. Therefore, the relation to it is different to me.

The point isn't how you relate to the thing being joked about
. It's that you shouldn't blame somebody for finding humor in tragic/disturbing situations. It's a legit coping mechanism.

@aguywithuc I tried to say it's like Crohn's but then people asked if I could just stop eating wheat. And, then I ended up having to explain Celiac's disease, Crohn's AND UC. LOL :o)
