My go to comfort food when I'm feeling REALLY gross is Pho....Which is vietnamese noodle soup with fresh basil, cilantro, lime. Basically any clear broth with a tiny bit of meat and no gluten (Noodles are rice noodles). I dont know WHAT I am going to do when I move away from the $4.00 Pho Place!!
OR, if I'm not nauseated and just feeling flare-y, a very mild Thai Green or Yellow Curry. Not spicy, has some very well cooked veggies, good anti-inflammatory spices like turmeric and garlic, no dairy or gluten, and the white rice helps with D.
I'm lucky I live in a city where you can't swing a cat without hitting an asian restaurant. All asian foods comfort me when I'm feeling horrible for some reason - maybe its the rice and well cooked veg, combined with no gluten, no dairy?
