Well I was just informed today that I am going to lose the pregnancy.  I am just hoping now that it is not an ectopic pregnancy.  More labs and tests on Tuesday.  I just want this to all be over.  This was it for me.  My body can't handle it.  My UC was semi under control and this put me into a very bad flare.  Mucus and blood and in the bathroom all night.  It is almost like my body starts attacking itself and the pregnancy.  I am an emotional basket case.  Really really a sad day for my husband and I.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Try to gets lots of rest over the next couple of days and make sure your loved ones give you lots of TLC. I hope that your test results show that this is not an ectopic pregnancy. You have been through enough already. (((HUGS)))

Please take it with a grain of salt. I was told for 12 years that I could never carry a child to term. My first child was 11 lbs 10 oz. He is now a very happy 22-year-old. During my second pregnancy, 19 years ago, I was told that I had a choice between terminating the pregnancy or losing my life. I switched to a Catholic doctor who does not terminate pregnancies. My second child is 18. I have four children and a brand new grandson. I did have a couple of miscarriages but I didn't give up.
What you are going through is emotionally and physically horrendous. It will get better. Law of averages-it has too! Many hugs.

Words can't express my sympathy. Please know that we are all thinking of you. Allow yourself to mourn. Losing a baby is so hard.

Subzero-  My hcg numbers are barely rising.  They are supposed to be doubling.  They said it could be chemical, ectopic or a chromosonal problem and that is wasn't going to continue.  My last pregnancy in June I lost at 17wks.  I guess there is a problem some where even though all the testing was negative.

I just can't go through this again. Physcially my body can't take it.  I am so sick with the UC now since I got pregnant again plus I am now 40yrs old.  I am not a spring chicken.

Just afraid for my health at this point and dealing with another loss will be too much.

This broke my heart when I read this, as a few of my best friends have dealt with this. Sorry to hear about this issue and I hope things get better for you and your husband..

I'm so sad for you. It reminds me that my UC pales compared to what others are facing.

I don't know you, but I wanted to extend my sympathies your way. Put yourself in a place you feel comfortable and let others help you through this time. So sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. I just had a friend lose a baby at 20 weeks and it does break the human spirit for awhile. I am sorry you have gone through this twice now.

I understand because of your health history and age this may be it for you, but if you were to try again perhaps you could talk to your OB/GYN about LDN (low dose naltrexone). My friend with UC who has had great success with LDN, actually started it for miscarriages not UC. She had 2 miscarriages and started LDN to help her get pregnant again and carry to term. Some docs are starting to use it for infertility and miscarriages. She had a successful pregnancy, delivered at 39 weeks and after being on it for 4 months for her pregnancy her UC went into remission and she has been symptom free ever since.

I will thinking of you and your husband during this hard time, just wanted to share the info since that is what we do best on here!
