Anyone else react badly to mutaflor?

My Dad tried Mutaflor and every time he stated it, he would get worse so we've given up trying it. I had such hopes for it too. I kept reading about E-Coli Nissil a few years ago and couldn't find out where to get it and then found out about mutaflor. I've read a couple of sites that say the mutaflor suspension works better and you can make yogurt out of it.

Either my rectum was inflamed already or it contributed to the inflammation of my rectum. Anyhow, it made me pass a lot of gas (which I hear means its working), however it never cleared up and I kept passing poop with the farts.

At that price, I could do without it.

Best of luck in finding the right probiotic for you. VSL 3 didn't help me because I flared while on it, and that to me, at that price, is a measure of its effectiveness and value.
