Anti-depressants are life-saving for some people. I've been on them most of my life and have no intention of getting off of them.
I also take klonopin occasionally to sleep. That I worry about in terms of addiction.
My antidepressant is Lexapro and it is amazing. Getting off of it is a problem though, but I don't have any plans to.
Interesting. I feel the same way about
Lexapro. I take it for social anxieties. I must have some chemical imbalance in my brain because Lexapro sure does work for me. I'm now doing lots of dance performances, giving presentations, and am on the phone a lot. I wasn't able to do any of these even a tiny bit for the first 45 years of my life.
I had originally thought I wanted to be on Lexapro all my life. I'm now thinking of perhaps reducing the dosage. It does affect my sleep and sex life.
