My lower back pain is related to muscle? I don't know. Do you say that because of the walking aggravation? One famous Tibetan doctor said so, and I tried physio-therapeutic and yoga exercises. What I can say is that exercise makes me overall feel much better, but I did not notice real improvement on the low back pain. In 2009, I joined in an incredible 400 km trek across the Himalayas- it was physically an horror and a nightmare for me, but mentally so challenging and enlightening that I am very happy to have done it. Throughout the trek, other people could feel that their muscles and body was growing stronger, so you can say they improved muscularly but in my case just miserable from the first to the last day, in terms of low back pain, which then turned into a whole back pain from the tip of the head down to the end of the spine and everything. Well it was a sort of extreme adventure anyway. But pain killer did not change a iota of that pain neither then nor at any time, whereas I would believe that muscular problem would be affilected by these pain killer? Or I am I wrong?
Uda, my pain is also difficult to describe. Since I have it, it sometime moves, sometimes is shooting, sometimes radiating, sometimes at the end tip of the coccyx, sometimes in the hip, but more generally in the last lumbar or upper sacral area. These days it is very mild and strangely doesn't aggravate on walking, rather on sitting! Yet still walking uphill is difficult and if I walk with other people, thay have to wait for me. As soon as there is slope, I can't walk as fast as when it's flat.
Better than hell though, for sure!
Also, Uda, since your pain came lately - wheras mine is quite well corrolated in tnerms of time, to my bowels pb, I wonder if your case is not muscular. For me, the weakness caused by the malnutrition, loss of weight, etc, tends to make me less active, then turning lethargic, then the whole muscualr system can weaken and then it does't support the skeletal structure well anymore. I try to keep my self a bit active, although I often feel like lying down all day due to lack of stamina, abdominal cramps, etc.
