Ive been experiencing massive shakes which im guessing is a side effect from being on prednisone for a while now, feels like my whole body is vibrating and its driving me quite insane. Was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for dealing with these?

It should ease up once your dose is lower. Sometimes I had to Ativan (prescription) if I felt really bad.

I get the shakes the entire time I am on them.  Right now I am on 35mg.  I take 20 in the morning and by the afternoon I have the shakes waiting for my second dose of 15mg.  It is like that until I get off them.  I haven't noticed the sweats as much this time though.

I have been shaking so bad the last 2 days and it's driving me NUTS!!!! As my grandmother says, "I feel as nervous as a cat".

My dosing has been 40 mg for 1 1/2 weeks, then 30 mg for 1 1/2 weeks. Tmr I start 20mg.

No advise, just wanted you to know you have company:)

I started on 40 for two weeks. Going down by 5 each week. I already don't feel as good not being on the higher dose. I used to sweat so bad my hair would be dripping wet. Im sure it will hit me soon. My house is so neat and in perfect order on these pills they make me crazy. My husband will go to work and come home and I will have all the furniture moved around or walls painted.

Boxermom2, I am that way normally about my house without prednisone. The pred make me just the opposite. So, can you come over and tidy up my house until I am off this nasty drug?! I will be happy to return the favor. Thanks:)
