Anyone used this or another OTC wart freezing product? Did it work?

I have one on my index finger. Before I treated it, it was painful to the touch. Naturally, after freezing it hurts a bit worse.

I had a large outbreak on my hand years ago. Doctor tried freezing and that accomplished nothing. Was sent to a specialist who used cantharidin. Hurt like a son of a gun, and it took about 3 treatments, but it got rid of the warts.

I tried the Freeze Away too for a wart on my knee and used it twice actually. But it didn't kill it so I had to go the doc for a stronger treatment and even then I had to go in twice.

I had the doctor freeze my warts and it didn't do anything. Then she used acid (didn't hurt... felt WAY better than freezing) and it took care of all but the big one. Which one night I obsessed over and dug into til I found a little "root". After I got rid of that, it went away.

My son had a bunch of warts on his fingers when he was about 9 (and trying to learn violin - !!)
The dermatologist froze one or two, but basically has us apply a liquid wart remover each day... but he had us us a file and file away it it first, before applying the stuff. I don't know if he was right, but he said sometimes it you aggravate the warts enough the virus just seems to give up and go away.

The warts did disappear (and he never became a violinist.)

I have several now, but I've been sort of ignoring them for some months....

This will sound crazy but I know a few people who swear by using duct tape on warts! Even when she mentioned it to their doctor he said "great!" like he knew it worked.

Duct tape starves the wart of oxygen... which it needs to survive.

My parents have some kind of wart ?acid? remover... I would use a nail file on the wart to soften it up then apply this liquid... did that for a couple weeks and it took care of my wart. Not sure what the brand of remover it was... but it must be some kind of acid.
