Do you have a fissure? If so, Try baby panetene cream in the rectum or vitamin e oil to coat it and help it heal.

A fissure is what I usually have if I have crapping glass feeling. I use baby butt cream, but if one is in a pinch and especially if there is alot of chemical burning sensation I have used that neosporin with numbing medication. I would say this stains your undies.

Definitely fissures. If OTC products don't help, get an RX of nitro from your GI.

super8...have you taken a look-see by squatting over a mirror? You'll pretty much be able to see what's going on. If the area is super red and inflamed as well..it could in part be a bit of a yeast infection too...especially if you do have fissures.
I use hydrocortisone cream OTC...but also have Proctocedyl ointment which is helpful.
I once had a yeast infection of my butt during external hemmie and fissure rearing during a flare..omg...I used Canasten cream which helped amazingly.
Feel better soon.

also fish oil, or a spoonful of oil with meals will help a little, and stay super hydrated.

When I have a difficult BM I have a prescript
ion for Pramoxine HCL 1% cream.
I have it with me, on particularly difficult days

I use Hydrocortisone suppositories for a few days morning and night when that happens. I'm not sure if it's a fissure or a grumpy hemmie but I do occasionally have the problem you are describing.
