So I've always been a relatively hairy person. I'm not like, beastly, but I am hairier than most people (sorry if this is gross).
Anyway, I was on prednisone from November to about mid-February and I could swear that my body hair's gotten much worse. I feel like parts of me are covered in fine hair.

Does anybody know if it eventually goes away or am I stuck like this forever? My moon face has pretty much gone away since I got off the prednisone, but I don't see a difference in the hair.

I think it should go away evenutally - hopefully. Hair is a known side effect of prednisone. Sorry you're feeling down about it, I am feeling down about pred side effects too, you're not alone.

Mine went away. My cheeks got kinda fuzzy!

I had the opposite effect - I wouldn't have to shave my legs or anywhere for several days at a time.

I have fuzzy cheeks and moonface now too.  The hair does just go away.  Not sure how long it takes but it does.  I can't wait to get my face back.  I work in an assisted living residence and even the dementia patients notice my face.  They ask me if I have had dental work done.

So glad to hear the hair goes away...my cheeks are fuzzy too. I see my moon face but my husband says its "not that bad". I have been on pred since Nov. and starting my sloooow taper this week.

I suppose my cheeks are a bit fuzzy, but it's the hair on my body that's really bothering me. I really hope that goes away, it's so embarrassing.

When I go off prednisone, my hair (on my head) falls out like crazy for like 6 months afterwards. I'm getting ready for it!

Ditto Dietcoke. But it also gets really thick on pred.

I had to wax everything because I have too much hair. I hope it falls out! maybe I need http://www.vaniqa.com/
