I can't drink much, not because of UC, because of Lexapro. The last time I went to a party, I had three vodka drinks. I was totally drunk, dancing on tables, and it took me three days to recover.
I've recently reduced my Lexapro dosage in half. I'm not sure if alcohol will have less of an affect now that I'm on a reduced dosage.
I drink only vodka and absinthe (the Green Fairy).
The real absinthe, or the Americanized version? I ordered a bottle from France a while ago that was the original recipe this chemist from New Orleans recreated from a bottle he found at a vintage sale. It was the real deal.My son-in-law collects absinthe from around the world. So I've had Absinthe from quite a few countries, including France. I've even had absinthe from South Africa. It wasn't that great.
There are quite a few companies in the US that now make absinthe, and their ratings aren't bad, better than a lot of French absinthe.
I just got a bottle of absinthe from St. George's distillery, which is less than an hour's drive from where I live. I've had St. George's absinthe before, and it is my favorite even though it has the lowest rating among US absinthe.
