I never come up as having a yeast problem on lab tests. Yet the fact remains that high yeast foods are problematic for me.
Vinegar
Vinegar is made with a yeast culture. These include: White vinegar, red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, mayonnaise, salad dressing, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, BBQ sauce, shrimp sauce, soy sauce, mustard, pickles, pickled vegetables, green olives, relishes, horseradish, mincemeat, chili sauce.
Just had the same salad as last week downtown, except I kept the aged red wine vinegar off, now I have no sudden UC symptoms like last week. Turns out vinegar is made with 'yeast'.
What a difference I feel completely normal without that dressing, last week I was a gas factory all day after I ate it and into the next one.
Florastor shut the problem down.
