acidity in stomach and imuran questions

Hello,

Does anyone also get acidity in their stomach. It feels like someone is putting a blow torch to the lining of the inside of your stomach. Nothing seems to help.

Also...i was on Imuran last summer for about 3 months and took myself off of it. I was having to many side effects on it. My gastro doctor thinks that it could not have been the imuran...(its never the meds) as soon as i took myself off it, i felt 100% better. I know when i see him in august, he is going to try to put me back on it. is there another drug that is simular to imuran, that i might be ok on?

My hubby is on Imuran but doesn't have burning stomach...he has dizzy spells and muscle spasms though...

I am taking something similar to prilosec for this phlegm I've had in my throat lately. The doctor said it could be reflux. I don't have acid, just a cough.

I am on 6mp, it is similar to Imuran. I don't think it caused my reflux. I am not sure if prilosec helps me.
