Just read your news on the antibiotic thread - would you start a new thread with your questions in search of doctors....? You'll get more hits if you put that in the topic.

I am sorry to hear the news too diaper man. On the positive side, this makes the decision to have surgery much easier and I think in the long-term, it's probably a smart decision. It's a long recovery but once you recover, you will never have to think about UC again.

Wow that is super nice of you guys. I really appreciate the thought. I am really releived that the decison to have surgery was made for me. Although, I am a little apprehensive of not having a job afterwards, but oh well at least I have the insurance now. I will a create a post for a Houston Surgeon. I put one one the jpouch forum but did not get any hits. Again thanks for the thoughts.
