I'm looking for a good GI doctor in the Atlanta area? Any suggestions?

Dx in 2004 with Ulcerative Colitis effecting the rectum and sigmoid
2 1/2 years of remission and started flaring May 2011 (5 months after birth of 2nd daughter)
Prednisone, Colazal (9/day), Cortifoam, started 6MP 8/5/11)
Prozac
Fish Oil, Vitamin D, Vitamin B complex, L-Glucosamine, Florastor, Prenatal vitamin, Lily of the Valley aloe vera juice, Floradix iron supplement

I have most recently been referred a a Dr. Kim with GI Specialists in Woodstock, Ga.   This after previously being hospitalized because my GI did not monitor my kidney function while on Apriso for 8 months.   I was 20% acute renal trouble.   I am going for my first appt with Dr. Kim tomorrow but I have heard only great things about him and comes highly recommended from other specialists that I trust.  

I will followup after my appt with him to give him a review.

Levine, Michael S MD. On North side of Atlanta just south of Marietta when I went to him. I broke down completely in front of him once and he was very compassionate. An older gentleman. Took time to talk with you on each appointment. Did a impromptu sig scope on me one day for no charge... never came across another doc I liked as much as him yet. I moved or I would still be seeing him.

I went to see my new GI today.  His name is Dr. Kim in Woodstock, at Towne Lake.   Youngish, very personable and actually the first GI I have seen that really just talked to me instead of at me.    Wants to focus on where I am now since the kidney issues and find proper treatment.   He wants to know how I feel about every step instead of just telling me that I have a chronic illness and get over it.   He believes in the pyramid.. not just jumping to Remi.. also.

Will keep you updated.
