WingZero,
I've been there, done that...was confined at home for about 3 yrs when my flare got very severe on me (not the first time it's done that either) and I've never been in full remissio my entire 20 yrs of having IBD....I got severely depressed, major anxiety was mentally and emotionally drained (even lashed out here at HW, although I expected some more understanding since most of us know what this disease can do to a person mentally as well as physically) but I learned that I had to find a way to help myself since I wasn't finding help anywhere else....I managed to get myself to exercise a little bit each day, did a ton of research on naturals (since I'm either allergic or non-responsive to traditional oral RX) and found some things (listed in my sig) that have benefit me and therefore able to increase my exercise to regular daily work outs, altering my diet as well has made a huge difference...I still am not in full remission (but I have some complications with my IBD) but definitely better physically, mentally and emotionally then I have been since I became sick 20 yrs ago.
There is hope, you have to reach way down inside yourself and pull it out, venting is helpful, but not always productive, you have it in you to beat this funk you're in....if I can do it, anyone can!
