It's a (expensive) probiotic in powder form I believe that is available over the counter. I wouldn't expect any real results because it has to go through your entire digestive system before it gets anywhere useful, which by that time it loses much of the benefit, but I'm just a layman and have not tried it myself. Just common sense to me that something over the counter will not be potent enough to work. Otherwise it would be all over the news for being effective treatment for UC and so readily available.
But I also think the same of all those vitamins and such others take :P
The only thing I know for a fact stops flares in their tracks is fecal transplant. It is the most powerful and natural (lol... I guess) probiotic and it goes straight to your colon. It's also free :)
