Rough Road Ahead! - Prayer Needed

So the last couple weeks have been whirlwind of tests and emotions for me and my family.

My last round of tests have unfortunately revealed colon cancer that has spread to my liver.

An MRI detected spots on my liver and a followup liver biopsy confirmed cancer. Last weeks colonoscopy also found a mass in my colon.
A very big surprise at age 31.

I am meeting with a local oncologist this week and hoping to get an appointment at Sloan-Kettering very quickly.

There is no doubt in my mind that when all is said in done, I will be cancer free. I have a very big God that can perform miracles.

Please keep my myself and my family in prayer. My wife and I have a 14 month old son and we are expecting our 2nd child (girl) early April.

That's messed up. I'm 31 also. Sorry man. Can they remove the cancer from the colon or they have to remove the colon. What can they do for your liver?

Colon cancer is very treatable and you're in great hands at Sloan Kettering. Keep us updated and you will be in my thoughts.

Mike -- that is scary news to hear, but you are a positive person, and I'm sending you and your family good vibes and thoughts. You definitely have your HW family's support behind you! As the others have said, keep us updated. Take care.

That wife and those babies need you and you need them.
You take all the prayers offered and embody them and you pray hard!
This just stinks.
I look forward to the day when we hear that you are cancer free and going to the park with that new baby and the "big brother".
