Squatting to poop

I squat when I go to the movies and there is piss on the toilet seat.

I have noticed differences in evacuation based on the height of the bowl and whether or not I lean forward. I am not clear that the squattypotty device that gives a semi-squat while sitting is effective. I would like to know more though.

I tried it once after reading about the purported benefits but it was so awkward for me.

Someone once told me this is the better way to go but I've never tried it. It seems like it would cause a lot of splashing.

i cannot be more AGAINST squatting. i have contributed my bleeding and hems to squatting. i did it for 3 months because i heard it was the best way to poop and the most natural. it seriously caused so many problems for me. i also got a cyst right above my crack from the added pressure you place on your anus.

I find most things in life are tomato/tomatoe. Sometimes things help people, sometimes they don't. Best you can do is try and see what happens.
