A while ago I posted that my kidney function was down per lab test and we thought it was the asacol. It turns out I ate a ton of meat and that was probably messed up my kidney function. Anyway, I'm back to normal according to labs.
I don't know why I started eating red meat again. Now I'm off!

I have been told that a diet too high in protein can cause kidney stones...if you were eating a lot of red meat and not a well balanced diet that might be the issue...this can affect anyone UC or not.
