How long for meds

I see my GI tomorrow for the first time since the scope, I'm on 4 x Apriso daily and Rowsas or w/e at night time. I have been using the meds for a week now how long does it take to see a huge improvment with theses meds?

It seems its some what working cause i dont feel im running to the toilet all day the morning is always 2 times now it use to be 2 3 4 5 times in the morning...

I do still see blood but not always does it take time to get this under control i dont know what type i have all i was told it was 10%

There's no way to know. Some people respond very quickly, others very slowly (or sometimes not at all). Just take comfort in the fact that you are improving.

Yes, some get response in days to weeks, some never. I have gotten very slow response over 2 years of oral Lialda and now about 9 months of rectal Rowasa and hydrocortisone.

The 10% is likely the most distal 10% of the colon, so that is what the rectalmeds will hit. The pills may help too, but mostly will prevent spreading to left, transversa, and right colon (hopefully).
