Hi Everyone,
I have found a way to control colitis in terms of bowel movements. I have mentioned some very important things in this thread, in terms of sufficent sleep (by 10pm or 10:30pm), exercise 30 - 45mins, and diet (organic foods, organic vegetables and fruits, no processed sugar, etc.).
But the biggest improvement has been with taking probiotics in addition to all of the above. I have found that by taking four capsuels of probiotics with every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) my stools have become solid. Not only that, but instead of going six times a day, I am going twice a day. Basically, I open each capsuel and I mix it's contents into my food before eating and that's it.
The only problem is that it can be expensive consuming upto tweleve probiotic capsuels a day; but it beats the alternative.
The probiotics I use are called Dds-100 Acidophilus, but you should give it a try with the probiotics you are accustomed to.
Finally, please remember that what works for me, may not work for you and its the combination of sleep, exercise, diet and probiotics together that works for me.
I really hope this helps someone, because it's the closest thing to a cure I have found in three years.
take care,
NBT
