CoLah,
The unpredictability of this disease is what tires me out emotionally the most--the roller coaster of maybe today will be good day, but then it isnt and then on and on it goes. I would suggest you keep a journal of what you eat, drink, how you sleep, meds, etc, so maybe you can see a pattern. Something you ate a couple days ago could give you a problem today. That being said, its seems for some of us there isn't always a clear rhyme or reason as to what bothers us. If I am already not feeling well, many foods/drinks/stress/lack of sleep with just make it worse, but when I am in remission I find a can push it a bit more.
How much prednisone are you on now? Does your dr know what is happening right now with your symptoms? And when was your last colonoscopy? I had similar intermittent symptoms in the fall before Cimzia fully kicked in, dr did a colonoscopy to see if it was working cuz my symptoms were all over the place, totally inconsistent, but it did show that the drug was actually working. Maybe once you are both a bioligic and an immunesupressant, things will calm down more.
Oh, and the poop fairy is classic! I know if my kids heard that one, they'd be repeating it for days!
