I just upgraded my video card for a EVGA G-Force GTX 560ti.

I pre-ordered Diablo 3, it's coming on May 15th.


Anyone will be playing this?

My problem is that my boyfriend won't let me use the good computer all the time so I might end up gaming on my laptop.

I have a massive backlog of games. I still have to beat amnesia, fallout: new vegas, deus ex and the last zelda game before I even think about putting new games on my radar.

lol, I know all of the games she mentioned. I have gaming systems but the game Diablo 3 is for PC and it's a sequal to a game that was around over 10 years ago and was a huge hit. Everyone who played d2 will probably play this game. It's a MMORPG and it can take over your life so if I disappear for long periods of time, that's where I will be, haha, JK :)

I loved Diablo! But I doubt I will play D3 on my Pc. I'm not good when it comes to controlling characters from a keyboard. I'm more into sedate type games now such as the adventure hidden object games. I found out that the older I get and if I continued to play intense games that it made me want to run to the bathroom - scared the crap out of me I guess! lol

lol I wouldn't be very useful if I keep running to the bathroom :) I used to play all the Tomb Raider and Resident Evil games but I swear, literally after the title screen would come up I would run to the bathroom. Scariest to date (and I had to turn it off and stop playing) was Resident Evil Nemisis - I never knew when that creepy dude was gonna come crashing thru a wall at me!

Wow, I'm just like Malkavian: I need to play Deus Ex, Skyward Sword, and Fallout, all of which are waiting to be played. I also just installed Resident Evil 5 last night and want to start Skyrim.

I'm a big traditional RTS fan so I'm anticipating Command and Conquer Generals II next year. Also, my fiancee bought me a 2-D sidescroller, Trine 2, which the collector's edition comes with the original game for free download. It is a surprisingly awesome game for a good price.

Some of you posting in this thread I would have never guessed were any sort of gamer. wink

As an aside, I'm a game developer. Just goes to show that all facets of live deal with health issues. Even us game makers. :). I deal with symptoms and still manage to work the crazy hours associated with the industry and enjoy life when I can!

My son has played or does play probably all those games. I at least know the names because I've bought a few for him. He's a major gamer and saved up his money for two years to buy himself a "gaming" computer. Wish I could play them...I just don't have the hand eye coordination. I did play worlds of warcraft years ago. :)

I have been playing but not too successfully lol. I want to make more characters but I figure I should try to build my wizard up better before buiding others. :)

my husband and i have been playing diablo 3 for the last week or so. we got it free from our world of warcraft accounts.
good fun. like the old baulders gate on xbox. luv it.

Public games just click on public games at login. And if you got social/friends on just right click join or invite too party :)

I have 7 computers and used to love fragging with Q3 guys from a custom mapping site. We had all the settings figured out for unlimited speed. You could pass you own rocket. It was a fast game and the huge custom maps were great.

A couple guys moved out west and we went skiing, grilling. I also hit the annual LAN party in Boston. None of the other games had the camaraderie or the speed and I am so busy I just do not have the time.

With my big new house everything is oversized like a huge quake map castle. I need to setup a couple machines there so I can have LAN frags with my daughter and drop in friends. Gone are the days of playing for hours a but you can bust off 30 frags in a small map in just 5 minutes and have a lot of fun doing it.

Feeling the 'ache' to 'quake' :)

I made a Barbarian.

He's level 51 now. I'm on act 4 at Nightmare Level. I should finish this tonight and I will start Hell.

I'm using Leap/Stump + Revenge, call of the ancients and war cry

Cleave and Whirlwind

My passives I believe are Weapon Master, Bloodthirst, and the increase critical hit thing...forgot the name.

The best skill for me so far is Revenge. That's the only way to get back health and fury in huge quantities. Nightmare is harder than normal, obviously, and you need a continous incoming supply of health/rage.
