Well exactly - White is a hired gun for the sugar industry. Doesn't really make him credible does it? But this is the crux of the problem - it is nigh on impossible to get impartial research when it comes to diet and nutrition as most is funded by vested interest groups. The only reliable sources of information are the investigative researchers, science journalists and enlightened nutritionists who base their thinking on their own experiences and their reinterpretation of studies which may have drawn an entirely different conclusion.
