Rowasa and steroid enemas at the same time?

My doc has ordered the steroid enemas for me to do twice a day.  I already have the Rowasa enemas which I am trying to do at night - without a lot of success retaining them for very long. 

Tips on doing the enemas at the same time?  Practically all of my non-work time will be spent inserting these things and trying to retain them.  Man this gets old.

Related note, we are consulting the CR surgeon at UVA.  The end may be in sight.

Thanks for the replies.  I thought about doing it mid-day but just no way to do it with my work schedule.  I do have some sick time but am going to have to save it because it looks like the surgical alternative is getting more likely by the day.  I am going to call the GI and see what he says.  Sometimes it just gets overwhelming.  I'm still wondering how the morning dose is going to go and how work is going to be.  I am going to have to do it about 4 a.m. to get any retention since I have to leave my house no later than 7:30.  That's ok I guess.  With UC I have come to learn how precious a full two hours of sleep really is.

 

I used to use cortifoam before bed and Canasa in the morning before work.
